Photo Club for Seniors

Co-presented by Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Vancouver and Maraya Cultural Projects Society with financial support from the City of Vancouver.

Are you a storyteller? Curious or interested in photography? (no experience necessary!) Have fun combining the two with a 6-week workshop where you can improve your camera skills, explore storytelling through images, and help out on an exhibition. Using a PhotoVoice approach, you choose a subject (like family, food, home, recreation) to meaningfully explore “community” through photography. No camera equipment required. Conducted in English with Cantonese and Madarin interpretation.

No experience is needed. Cameras are provided. Participants are required to attend all six workshops.
Free and open to seniors (65+) only.
Tuesdays: 1:00 - 2:30p.m.
