Colette Lisoway is a full-time visual artist and a teaching artist with ArtStarts Artists in the Classroom, Vancouver School Board Artist in Residence, Anvil Centre in New Westminster, North Vancouver Community Arts Council and Continuing Education at Capilano University. Her six-pannel print installation, Happy to Meet You, is featured in Telling Stories: A Visual Art Exhibition at the Chinese Cultural Centre Museum through December 19th. Her screen prints interweave her connections in the community and that of shared stories, camera captured observances and chance encounters. These pannels buzz with activity and urban commerce, all connected together in a heartfelt welcome to all.
Telling Stories Community Art Project is partially funded by the City of Vancouver and Province of British Columbia.
